General Philosophy
This office believes that every
patient has the right to be comfortable during a dental experience.
Even in procedures where some discomfort is involved, pain is not a
necessary component. Patients who are fearful of a dental visit most
often learned this fear through some past experience. Such a fear
can be unlearned.
This office believes that prevention
of disease is healthier, more enjoyable and less costly than treating
disease after it exists. Through preventive dentistry and by
learning to be healthy, dental problems can be kept at a minimum. If
you want to begin practicing preventive dental habits, we can help you
learn about them.
We believe that patients are
entitled to be treated as people; special people because they have come to
me for treatment. While you are here, you will receive all our
attention; it will not be divided. We strongly believe that, if we
take the time to talk to you and to communicate with you, you will be more
comfortable. Both your health and your comfort are our concerns. To

Office Hours
Office hours are by
appointment. Appointments are available days and evenings.
We try hard to maintain our schedule so that you will not have to
wait when you arrive for your appointment. A certain portion
of each day is set aside for emergencies, however, so please
understand that sometimes emergency treatment for another patient
may result in a delay. Click

| Kids' Room - New
Service!
We have a new service for
young parents: the "Kids' Room”, which is a friendly, fun,
and definitely not scary play space for kids in a tropical fish
motif. It is a supervised secure play room for children to visit
while their parent(s) are having a cleaning or other treatment
performed. Imagine, an hour of babysitting while you are
pampered in our office. There is an assortment of diapers and
basic care necessities available, as well as a “Pack ‘N
Play" for the infants and a changing station. In addition, the
room has a DVD player and loads of games for children to stay happy
and engaged.
The "Kids’
Room" supervisor is a trained child care provider with
credentials, children’s first aid, CPR and AED training, and she
will have had a CORI check. She will watch and play with your
children - there is no additional cost to you for this service.
If you wish to utilize
the "Kids' Room”, please call the office to make reservations
for your children. We can only accommodate a maximum of four kids at
a time. Ages are from infant to 8 years old.

Emergency
Care
When we first meet, if
you have an emergency, we will treat the emergency and then
give you an appointment for a more thorough examination.
If a problem arises when the office is closed, the answering
machine will give you home telephone numbers. When we
are away, the practice is always covered for emergencies by
another dentist.

Recall
Visits
We hope that
you share in our beliefs that regular dental
health care is a sound investment. While the
responsibility for returning for this treatment
rests primarily with you, we will provide the
service of sending you a written reminder for your
appointment.
At the time
of your recall visit, please advise us of any
change in the following areas: address, telephone
number, health, medical history, marital status,
employment, and insurance coverage.
